So I really like Final Fantasy 14 and I want to play more of it but grinding the same two dungeons over and over has gotten old and stale and I have to force myself to log in anymore. I really believe that the patch will fix a lot of it, and when we get to raiding that will help too.
Right now though I feel kind of guilty because I’m not grinding out tomes to gear up my character but at the same time it’s not guilty enough to actually DO anything about it guys what the fu-ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
im confused yet intrigued
Is Koltira/Lorthemar a thing?
It should be a thing.
for a second I understood that wrong and was like: Uhh. Koltira and Lorthemar aren’t girls?
Dear god someone get me a cup of coffee.
i dunno i wouldn’t mind being koltira for a bit i mean
i dunno how i feel about diddlin lorrie but
if i were to be a belf man it would be koltira
I’m pretty sure playing WoW with elfsnatch would be the most fun thing you could ever do in WoW.
I’m going to post this from my personal tumblr, because anyone who is interesting in joining after knowing/seeing my tumblr is probably way cool, just sayin’.
BUSY BEES Free Company On BALMUNG Is Recruiting For Tight-Knit Coil Team!
Busy Bees is a Free Company of a small, dedicated group of friends, family, and gamers who have been together since World of Warcraft and beyond, going back to the US launch of FFXI. Our goals in FFXIV are to have fun and see content. We plan on remaining a single 8-person team Free Company for the time being, with a casual yet consistent approach to scheduling but a hardcore approach to performance. We’re on most nights from 6 PM EST to 3 AM EST and schedule stuff around people’s activities with the understanding that punctuality and courtesy are the rule, not the guideline.
We use voice chat every day, have regular Netflix viewing parties (Fridays we’re watching FMA: Brotherhood!), and play other games together. We like roleplaying, having spiritbonding parties, and helping each other with low-level jobs and crafting. We believe that the sort of people we’d like to raid with must be the sort of people we’d love to be friends with. At the moment we’re looking for: x1 WHM, x1 DPS SMN/BRD preferred; Coil experience a plus, but not necessary.
- Voice chat (the ability to listen with a mic and speak) is required unless you have some sort of disability with precludes this. We’ve done raids with people who couldn’t use VC due to being Deaf/HoH before.
- Please be 18 and over. We’re not raunchy sorts of people — mainly just child-free dorks in our mid-to-late-20s and early-30s — but we don’t want to get in trouble with anyone’s legal guardians and would generally like to avoid any big generation gaps.
- We’re friends, first and foremost, so we strive to maintain an environment that is free of racism, misogyny, ableism, and homophobia as much as possible. We have a one-strike policy for anything egregious.
- We expect our players to be level 50, appropriately geared, and well-versed in their respective mechanics. We’re all research nerds, so we generally expect the same. If you don’t have your relic weapon yet, we’re more than willing to work with you! NOTE: Don’t be afraid to contact us even if you’re new to the game. We’ll definitely give consideration to especially awesome people who are looking for a place to be and play.
If you’re interested, please send a /tell to Mamimi Mami in-game with any questions or concerns you might have, OR message me here via Tumblr. Thank you!
I tank for this group! Join us! Bzzz! :3
Many fireballs are tossed by me for this wonderful group of people.
So Stephen Frost answered my question, saying that tab target/target lock would be in the game as a toggle option for some players. But it was twitter, so there wasn’t much to say. Does ANYONE know what they do functionally? Like let’s say I lock a target. If I use a range ability, will I autoface this target to fire it off? Or is it just used to track the target location.
If this breaks the NDA I’m sorry, but this is important. If it doesn’t do what I want it to do, I’m wasting my time following the game because I wont be able to play.
I’ve made a huge mistake.
I say butt a lot, and make poop jokes and am generally oblivious to a lot of things, but I love my friends more than anything. The *counts on fingers* 6 or 7 people I talk to every single night, without getting tired of them are the best people I know and I’d do anything I can for them. They are neat.
2: Company you’re always loyal to?
I’ve always enjoyed Square-Enix games. Even when they had separate companies. Even the WORST Final Fantasy/Dragon Quest game is not BAD.
6: A game that’s changed you the most?
Well, World of Warcraft did put Dora next to me, so that was definitely important in my life. I kinda like her a lot. If we want to talk about my gaming habits, the original Final Fantasy completely blew my mind as far as what a game could be. I was like 11, and turn based combat was great because it meant that I could play the game just as well as anyone else. Final Fantasy II (actually 4) did more of the same, but had an absolutely AMAZING story. I hadn’t owned a PC at that point, so games with deep stories simply didn’t really exist.
8: Best soundtrack?
Far and away, without a doubt, Crono Cross. It’s not my favorite game, RPG or anything like that, but the music in it made every scene punch me in the gut, or make me want to save the world.
15. Which two games do you think would make an awesome crossover?
The game/series Grandia had one of the best combat systems ever. Plus the way the characters are written is really snappy. I’d love to see that kind of game play and writing placed into the Dragon Age universe. The DA games are great, and the characters are SUPER awesome, but I definitely prefer more turn based combat and maybe happier characters. (I know they are already some of these, but if you’ve played Grandia/Grandia 2, you know what I mean)
Dora started Dragon Age last night. I think she’s hooked. I hope so.
a “practical joke” type thing where you’re meant to focus on a video (usually a pretty quiet one so you have to turn the volume up) but after like a minute there’s a sudden loud scream, usually accompanied by a suitably scary picture flashing onto the screen
Sorry to reblog, i just wanted this on my blog cause it’s a solid definition of a screamer
these kinds of pranks are triggering to people and in some people prone to epilepsy they can cause seizures.
don’t ever post one of these. it’s not funny, it’s tasteless and it can pose a danger to people.
One of my best friends is one of the people for whom they would cause seizures. Just don’t post them, it’s a jerk move.
This. also ilu milli
Some people think that AC gameplay gets repetitive and stuff, and I can’t argue with them entirely, but I still love every game in the series, and now that this game will be coming to PC in a couple months, I’m super excited I get to play it.
